It’s a bit out of Krems, but that’s fine if you’re driving. We had tickets to Schloss Walpersdorf, only a 15‑20 minute drive away, so the location was spot‑on for culture, shopping, or hiking. Breakfast was generous, lovingly prepared, and the dining area and garden were bright, spacious, and welcoming. Tamara, the host, and her son gave us a warm welcome and a friendly goodbye.

The place is lovely, quiet, and the room is beautiful. I’d book it again anytime, even for a longer stay. The breakfast buffet is fantastic and the host is friendly, though the price feels a bit high—seems to be the norm in Austria.
