The old elevator was spectacular—just that. The street was infinitely loud, in a severely run‑down area, and the bathroom made “loud noises” and was just as broken. Breakfast was a joke—tinned ham, cheese on a plate, toast, and not enough of each. A sweet bite for everyone, cappuccino was milk coffee…etc. Overall: completely overpriced for what’s offered. The parking, as advertised, is on an unguarded street—if you’re lucky! I don’t understand!!
The location and the quietness of the breakfast were positives. The breakfast was very poor, and the room lacked items like a chair, a small lamp for the night tables, and there was nothing in the bathroom to hang towels.
Nothing good to mention. The room was cramped and the bathroom was disgusting.
We stayed one night and chose apartments within walking distance of the station because we needed to catch an early train to the airport. Walking to the station really takes 3‑5 minutes, which was our main plus, although we didn’t like the area itself: the streets around were pretty dirty and the crowd seemed questionable. The apartments were cute, and a few rooms had access to a common area with the reception and a breakfast spot. We left very early, so we didn’t use breakfast. The location was fine for us (given the proximity to the station), but for a longer stay in Palermo I would recommend a different district.
A classic local hotel with parking and a central spot near the old town. The hosts were friendly and offered luggage storage. I’ll definitely come back. Anyone complaining is just in the wrong place.
