“Akureyri backpackers”
The hotel sits right on main street, making it super convenient. The rooms are clean and the price is reasonable, but the walls are thin and every little noise comes through.

Some of the food was just leftovers that had been carried over, and it was served late. Everything else was disappointing.

The location is excellent. The only drawback is that the facilities are limited; for example, there were no towels provided.

The building is spotless and the spot is great—you can even catch the northern lights from there. The staff are friendly and kind, the rooms look nice and the beds are comfortable. I’d definitely recommend it! The downside is that the showers on floor -1 force you to go through the bar, practically in your pajamas.

The pub under the accommodation was a mess and stayed open until midnight.
