Everything was perfect—super friendly, clean, and comfortable. The kitchen is amazing, the common areas are great, and the view is beautiful. It’s quiet and calming. The rooms are spacious with a comfortable bed, a clean bathroom, and plenty of room. The city center is about a twenty‑minute walk away. Jose is kind and assists with everything you need. I can’t recommend this hostel enough.

The staff and owner went above and beyond, especially one night when we had a medical emergency late at night and the owner escorted us to the hospital and made sure we were seen quickly. Aside from that exceptional night, the property is beautiful, has lovely social areas and a well stocked kitchen. The place is cleaned regularly and you can tell it's looked after with great care. We really felt at home from the moment we arrived.

Everything was perfect, even better than I expected. The photos don’t do the place justice – it’s MAGNIFICENT. The location is so clean, they take great care of the accommodation. It’s just a bit out of town, which gives peace. The host is super kind and, to our surprise, speaks French! There are two dogs and one cat that are adorable and friendly.

The owners were extremely friendly, chatty, and helpful, very knowledgeable about Ometepe. The room was very clean and came with a mosquito net. Water pressure in the shower was good with hot or cold water. The kitchen was massive and coffee and water were free, as well as some fruit and veg. They had loads of comfortable chairs and seating areas for chilling. Only downside was that the WiFi didn’t work in the room.

Jose is a wonderful host with great stories himself. The place is clean, basic but cute. It’s a gateway with amazing view of the volcano. Bumpy road leading up to the main road is hard on motorcycles. (although that’s managed by the government vs the property)
