“Would love to come back”
The staff were amazing—friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. The only downside was the noise from the street; otherwise, it was perfect.
The price‑to‑value ratio is excellent, and massages are included for longer stays. The staff are very nice and there’s nothing to complain about. There’s a lovely garden with a pool right by the sea, accessed by a ladder. It’s on the sunny side, so it might not suit everyone, but you can see beautiful sea turtles that roam there and appear regularly. It’s a great starting point for whale snorkeling. We hired a driver with a tuk‑tuk who guided us perfectly through the chaotic traffic. Thank you! No complaints. For the price, the accommodation is very reasonable.

“Seaside hotel”
The location works well if that’s what you’re after: snorkeling is right in front of the resort, the infinity pool is beautiful, and the complimentary massage was great with staff eager to help. A staff member gave me a scooter ride to a rental shop (the cost was twice that in Bohol), but they had no transport for the return, so I had to catch a tricycle. Gaisano supermarket is 2 km down the road, the breakfast was lovely, and the resort is 12 km from the whale‑shark point. They let us use the fridge for snacks, drinks, and milk. It’s basic but friendly and has everything you need. When we waited a long time for the bus, they brought out chairs for us to sit, which was very kind. On the downside, the toilet leaked, the shower didn’t work (maybe it was me), I didn’t get a better rate for extending the stay with cash, and when we arrived early at 9 am they charged us 200 p per hour for early check‑in even though no one else was staying—this was not very customer‑friendly. I understand if the room was still being cleaned, but it was ready for us. Also, there were no eateries nearby.

We stayed a few days at the RRJ’s. The place was very clean. Jess’s welcome matched her smiles and kindness. We were lucky to meet her daughter, a very friendly and upbeat young woman 👏👏. We got an exceptional half‑hour massage, thank youii. We recommend this establishment. Nothing to add.
