The room and bathroom were very clean and comfortable, the equipment was very good, Mike was very friendly, and it was well‑located; our room was on the basement floor, with small windows high up looking onto the street floor.

It is indeed close to the centre and easy to access by bicycle, and I stored it safely on the ground floor; the owner is very helpful, giving valuable recommendations for the environment, check‑in was smooth, I also appreciated the small roof terrace, best value for the money to stay in Heraklion, thanks for all.

The room was great in a quiet neighbourhood and close to the centre, we received a warm welcome from the owner, and we were given an upgraded room that turned out much better than the (basement) room we had booked; Michael showed us the (basement) room at departure, which looked entirely different from the room we had booked, and it would be good to better display the different rooms on Booking.

It was an excellent stay; the private room was very clean and had a private bathroom, it also had a very pleasant terrace and a perfect location in the centre, close to everything, ideal for exploring the city on foot; the owner is charismatic, friendly and welcoming, making you feel at home; a highly recommended option for its comfort, location and hospitality, it has a terrace and great views, I would return without hesitation!
