“Havre de paix en montagne”
The house was a charming little stone cottage tucked into a mountain village, and the view from the terrace over the peaks and the village was stunning. The hosts were friendly even though we didn’t speak the same language, and their garden‑grown dinner and breakfast were a real treat. It’s an authentic spot, but you’ll want to bring a backpack instead of a suitcase because the streets are cobbled and steep.
