The hotel had a decent appearance, and the rooms were fairly neat and tidy, although they felt dated. Our rooms (2) were missing basic items like toilet paper. The front desk clerk, who was also the assistant manager, was not very welcoming and didn't provide any toilet paper after we checked in, even though we arrived very late. I had to stop a housekeeping staff member mid‑morning the next day to request toilet paper. They then wanted to add extra housekeeping charges, even though we never had housekeeping come in during the entire four nights we stayed. The additional fees upon check‑in were extreme and made it hard to budget for this stay. The assistant manager was very unprofessional and unfriendly, which was the main reason we decided to change hotels. In addition to the endless fees that kept being added, the lack of basic services—housekeeping, toilet paper, clean towels without paying extra—was ridiculous. What’s the point in paying for multiple nights, a utility fee each night, a housekeeping fee, a deposit, and then still having to exchange dirty towels for clean ones only once during your stay without an extra fee? I didn’t even have toilet paper in my room when I checked in, and I didn’t have any until after check‑out the next day. Had we not been staying, we simply wouldn’t have had any.
