Pousada Barra do Mundaú

We loved staying at Pousada Barra do Mundaú! The inn is very pleasant, spacious, has a pool, and a wonderful location with an amazing view of dunes, palm trees, the lagoon, and the sea. Breakfast was excellent and the whole team was very welcoming, kind, and attentive. We liked it so much we came back a few days later! ❤️ We also appreciate the kindness of letting us shower after check‑out before we left. That care made all the difference. We only have compliments and definitely recommend it!

The place itself is very leafy and close to the river, but the pool could use lighting to be usable at night.

“Um paraíso”

Breakfast was a highlight, especially the on‑the‑spot tapioca. Check‑in was a breeze, and Nelson had all the tips ready. The lodge sits right next to the sunset dune, so the view is instant. The only hiccup? They’re still fixing the staircase – it only has one handrail, so it’s a bit unsafe.
