The staff’s friendliness was the best part and they gave us directions for using public transport. The room price felt high for what I received, and basic cleaning supplies could be improved.

The room was very spacious, cleaned daily, and the 24‑hour reception and bar served food. The staff were very helpful. It was a bit far from the center, but there was a direct bus to the Vatican.

The staff were very friendly! But the place feels more like a hospital than a hotel; everything is cold and bleak. The elevator doesn’t work, the beds/ mattresses are extremely hard, the rooms are ancient and haven’t been renovated in decades. Mold covered the bathroom, the shower door hit me, corners were flaking off, and the sink stopper was missing. The air‑conditioning unit was glued with tape, the door veneer was peeling – everything looked very rundown. It was also extremely noisy; we heard everything happening in the neighboring rooms. It was terrible.
