“Gruselig”
The place was convenient. Unfortunately, the inn was not informed and nobody knew we were coming. The hotel was dusty and empty, giving it a creepy vibe.

No breakfast? The staff were not friendly.

I had a wonderful experience at this guesthouse, with extremely friendly staff who made me feel right at home. The property itself was a bit old-fashioned, but it was beautifully decorated and had a lot of character. However, I did encounter a minor issue when I arrived late at night and found the streets to be pitch black, which made it a bit unsettling for a solo female traveler.

I had a pleasant stay at this guesthouse, which offered a quiet room, reliable Wi-Fi, and a convenient parking space. The ensuite bathroom was dated but clean, and the hostess spoke English, making communication easy. However, I faced some challenges, such as the lack of mobile phone reception due to the guesthouse's location on a hilltop, and the steep and narrow road leading to the nearby town of Spiegelberg.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this guesthouse, which was spotlessly clean and had a very welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making me feel like part of the family. The property itself was an original farmhouse, which added to its charm, and the on-site butcher shop was a lovely touch. However, I did find the mattresses to be a bit too soft for my liking, but this is a subjective issue and may not be a problem for everyone.
