I could see the pyramids from the roof because it’s close to them. No complaints.

The breakfast service was very slow and they never brought us the coffee we asked for ten times.

Ahmad and his team were the highlight of the stay; he assisted me with tours, guided me to local markets, arranged transport, and helped me avoid extra Uber fees common here. The rooms were average for the price in Egypt, but the helpful staff made up for it. I felt comfortable during my solo trip. It’s worth staying here! The cleanliness was a bit below standard due to the dry season, but that was a minor issue.

The big plus of the Hur Pyramid Inn is its location and great value. It’s only a 15‑minute walk to the Pyramids, and the rooftop terrace offers a lovely view while breakfast is served to guests anytime. The only downside is that the hotel only provides breakfast; other meals come as take‑aways and aren’t great, though many restaurants are nearby. Every bedroom has a TV, but aside from BBC News there were no English channels.

I was pleased with the hotel's location, which was relatively quiet. However, we didn't get the room we had requested, a cozy room with a large bathroom, and instead were given two single rooms with a filthy bathroom. The window couldn't be closed properly, so when the restaurant was burning food, the smoke would fill our room. We also had to wait for breakfast every day as the staff was nowhere to be found.
