The hospitality, the house’s location, and the breakfasts were excellent. Casa Verde felt very welcoming; on both days we had breakfasts that were never the same, with a wide variety—toast, cereals, even homemade yogurt—prepared with great care and affection. Pilar, the host, was perfect and also gave us great suggestions for dinner spots and places to visit. A memorable stay, highly recommend. Thanks Pilar and family, including Luna and Pongo.

A wonderful place to unwind. Pilar handled the welcome and provided route info and sightseeing tips with great detail. The breakfast was varied, natural, and homemade. Highly recommend the place; the hospitality felt like home. Will return.

The location is excellent and Pilar, who attends, is affectionate and knows La Rioja very well. She gives very good recommendations. A shout‑out to Pongo and Luna, and a big hug to Pilar. Thanks for the magnificent breakfasts and the excellent advice. ❤️

We loved Pilar and Luna the goat! The walk along the river, swimming, and the great community were all fantastic. Pilar was incredibly welcoming and helpful. The only downside was that it’s a bit far out of town—no restaurants or shops within walking distance—which we liked, but if you prefer walking it could be annoying.

Pilar is a charming and very kind person. She helped us with everything. The only thing I would add is a microwave, but you can manage without it.
