“Sweet vintage motor inn”
After a long drive I always stop here, and the location is great; the vintage motor inn stays consistently clean and comfy, and the pool is nice too.

The front door parking is convenient, and ashtrays are placed at room doors; the bathrooms have been updated.

The rooms had been renovated, and the spot is close to the beach, though the road traffic makes it very loud. The place isn’t terrible, but the poor service ruins the overall vibe. I’d hate to see them serve that awful breakfast again—there was nothing substantial, no protein, and my mom suffered stomach aches for two days after eating their waffles (the batter probably wasn’t refrigerated). The food was dumped on the tables, and we felt unwelcome. While we tried to eat Cheerios, we heard throat‑cleaning noises from the back of the dining room. The staff were rude, acting as if we were making them work for free, even though we paid a good price. This is a family‑owned property with its own rules. We were told room cleaning was on request; we asked for a clean once during our three‑day stay, and all we got were towel changes. The towels had holes. The room was renovated, but the amenities were worn; the coffee pot was broken, the bedding was polyester, feeling like sleeping under plastic. There was only one soap for three people for three days. The bed legs were a death trap, risking your toes.

The hotel staff let us switch rooms and were polite and welcoming. However, there was questionable goop on the nightstand, scratches and paint chips on the walls, and the bathroom ceiling looked like it was about to collapse. The bottom of the door was taped on, the mattress had stains, and the bed was hard. Overall, it wasn’t a comfortable experience.

The location near the water is great, and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. The updated showers are really nice.
