“Will recommend others to come and will stay there again if the opportunity arises.”

All the staff were excellent, polite, and paid great attention to detail. The facilities were amazing and the stay was very peaceful. The pillows were incredible, and the food was great. Nothing to complain about.

“So happy to have experienced this amazing place.”

A beautiful, calm oasis amid Kyoto’s chaos. The onsen was blissful, and the staff were on another level. What a gem! I only wish we’d stayed longer.

The service was the kindest and most impressive I’ve seen, the breakfast was delicious, and the ryokan itself was beautiful!

“Perfect. I would return with my friends.”

It was a nice traditional hotel with a great staff that remembered me from over a year ago. The included breakfast was very good, and the bath was clean. The only downside was that the bathroom in the room was very small.

Breakfast was good, and the staff were friendly. The neighborhood is quiet but off‑center from downtown Kyoto, reachable only by bus (about 20 minutes). In the evening there are few restaurants and no entertainment.
