The hotel and room were clean and well kept, but we had a rough trip that had nothing to do with the hotel: we drove from Boulder to Vegas in under 18 hours in a Tesla that kept giving me trouble—no air‑conditioning and charging issues—so we arrived at the hotel around 11:30 pm after hours of no AC. We didn’t plan to have AC on the way home to San Diego the next day, so we cut our stay very short, leaving at 3 am to beat the heat for a solid hour of sleep. The hotel kindly let us store our expensive mountain bikes in our room. When we were leaving, the attendant had taken our key cards, but I asked if I could take the bikes to the car, then return for coffee on the drive. On returning to the door I also needed an emergency bathroom visit because something I ate the evening before had made me sick; I was desperate for the bathroom and the attendant was gone. I used the phone to alert the attendant, but the phone kept ringing and ringing and ringing and ringing. It was devastating, and I won’t go into what I had to do next. If we had stayed the night as planned, enjoyed the room and the hotel’s amenities, I would have given the hotel a perfect 10, but they failed me when I needed them the most. Maybe it wasn’t intentional… I’ll never know, but she had been there just minutes before. The memory of that morning and what followed will always haunt me, and I don’t think I could ever return to the hotel.

The TV guide is always inaccurate, never reflecting what’s actually on each channel, and the channel lineup is disappointingly limited.
