“Not worth it”

The place was old, filthy, and utterly disgusting. The entire property reeked of food and cigarette smoke, and at night people and kids screamed in the hallways, making it impossible to relax or sleep. It felt unsafe and uncomfortable. Breakfast was terrible—no tea or coffee at all. The restaurant was so bad I had to force myself inside just to see what they offered, and it was a complete disaster. This place is nowhere near the standard it should be; stay away and spend a bit more elsewhere for a clean, safe, and comfortable stay—you deserve better.

The hotel is pretty new, about a 20‑minute walk from Chunxi Road, and the room is spacious and fresh, with a good bathroom. We stayed two nights, but since we left early the breakfast was only take‑away: two buns and a small almond‑milk brik. Reception staff are very kind, though they don’t speak English. The 4th floor offers free washer and dryer, which was handy. Good value for money—140 euros for two nights for six people.

“Not bad but wouldn’t go back”

The reception staff were friendly and helpful. The bedding and towels were clean and comfortable. The location is close to the monastery and convenient for reaching parts of Chengdu, not far from the metro. The building looks worse than the pictures, and there was no room‑cleaning service during our three‑night stay. Breakfast was tasty but the buffet was quite limited.
