The room was spacious and comfortable, especially the mattresses, with basic services, clean and well‑maintained, and close to the medieval bridge of Hospital de Órbigo. The reception could be better; because the bar‑restaurant is also there, you get welcomed in the middle of everything.

The location was good, the facilities seemed fine. I saw ink‑like spots on the sheets in the morning and had insect bites all over my back, arms and legs the next day, which matched bed‑bug bites. I handled it as best I could (hopefully) but I would never return.

The attached café at the albergue was lively, full of locals and served good food. The town itself is tiny with not much else nearby. I stayed in a 4‑bed dorm that was only half full and had a nice en‑suite bathroom.
