The front‑desk staff were helpful. The building looks good from the outside, but inside it felt a bit like a prison cell with Wi‑Fi. It’s very close to the domestic departures and offers Netflix. There’s a restaurant on the next floor up. The toilets were a short walk down a deserted hallway, and the airport floor felt very isolated. Also, there were no showers.

I booked the VATC Terminal 1 location by mistake, traveling from Nha Trang to Hanoi on a domestic flight into Terminal 1, then picking up luggage and heading to Terminal 2 for an international flight; the VATC is one or two levels below the main entrance and ticketing floor, with elevators behind the information desks that help if you have luggage or don’t want stairs; it’s located before airport security screening, has no bathrooms inside but they’re just across the hall, and there’s a luggage storage service for a fee; everyone I met at VATC and the luggage storage area was pleasant and the customer service excellent; my wife and I could rest and sleep comfortably, and this was my first time using a service like this, so I felt it was good value; for older travelers or those with mobility concerns, note that there are bunk beds— I took the top bunk and at 70 I could get up and down without much trouble, but if you have mobility issues, consider a lower bunk if available; overall, it was a positive experience and I’d consider using VATC again. No issues.

The place was perfect overall, but one guest kept talking loudly on the phone while I was trying to sleep, which was annoying. A reminder to keep calls low‑volume near the pods would help, but the staff handed me noise‑cancelling buds that really solved the problem.
