The location is great for vacationers who want to stroll down M street. In the photos the lobby looks newer and better equipped than it actually is—there was no snooker table as shown. Even though someone was at the front desk to help, there was no flexibility to make a reservation or extend the stay; everything had to be done online.
I am writing to formally complain about our stay at Global Luxury Suites at Georgetown, Apartment 110, from August 21 through August 23, 2026. We booked a 2‑bedroom apartment that was supposed to be one of the property’s better units. It was advertised as a 4‑star luxury accommodation. What we received was completely unacceptable and materially different from that description. The apartment had a strong, unpleasant odor and felt extremely dusty and unhealthy. Our allergies were immediately triggered, and none of us had a restful night’s sleep during the entire stay. The hallways were filled with the overpowering smell of plug‑ins and Febreze, seemingly being used to cover up other odors, which made our allergy symptoms even worse. The apartment itself was cavernous, dark, and completely uninviting. It was located on the 1st floor directly facing a driveway and had almost no natural light. The curtains barely worked and were extremely difficult to open and close, creating an additional privacy concern because of the apartment’s location. The air conditioning made the living room freezing, while the bedrooms remained unbearably hot, at approximately 95 degrees. The internet did not work at all. The water pressure was terrible, the bathroom faucet was loose, and the toilet barely flushed. It required multiple flushes after every use. The bathtubs were also dangerously slippery, and we nearly fell and seriously injured ourselves. This was not simply a matter of preference. The apartment was uncomfortable, poorly maintained, unsafe, and not remotely representative of the 4‑star luxury property advertised. We contacted the property immediately, but none of these serious issues were resolved. I am requesting a full refund for this stay. I also expect to investigate this listing and how this property is being represented to customers. Please respond promptly and confirm that the full refund is being processed.
The location and size of the room were great. The room had a smell.
The place sits in a good spot. It isn’t a hotel but an apartment with minimal services.
“Overall it was a great stay and we would definetly return.”
The location was amazing; it genuinely could not have been located anywhere better! The staff were all super helpful and kind. The room was spacious and nice. When we arrived, we were really confused because we didn’t see a sign for “Global Luxury Suites”, instead it said the Lennox.
