The staff were great and the food from the restaurant was good, but the staircase to the rooms and dining area was very steep, narrow, and high, making it hard to navigate. The place was noisy and not “senior” friendly, and the owner didn’t make foreign women feel welcome. The bathroom was a mess and the amenities were very basic.

The rooms were lovely, decorated to a high standard in a beautiful old haveli, and the rooftop restaurant offered a good breakfast. The location was convenient for reaching major attractions, and the staff were polite. However, being in the heart of the old town meant it got a bit noisy, and a film crew in the courtyard outside our room reduced privacy somewhat.

The staff were kind and professional, the hotel design was good, and the restaurant was very nice! The proximity to points of interest was a plus. The street was very noisy—earplugs were needed to sleep. The rooms were small, but that’s due to the old structure.

Breakfast was excellent, the staff were very humble, especially Mr. Naresh who was always helpful and available. The location was very good, with every major attraction just 100‑500 m away.
