The spot was great for my trip to Waianakarua, with a comfy bed and a roomy, spotless bathroom. The heat pump kept the room warm, but it was freezing outside in June, so a heat pump alone didn’t cut it. It’s a solid choice for summer stays—quiet, peaceful, and right off the main road. The owners were super friendly, but you have to use the shared kitchen to brew tea, and it was really cold there. An electric blanket would have made things a lot better.

The owners were so accommodating. We were running past the 10.00pm check in time and they waited up for us. The bed was really comfortable and the unit was spotless
