The spot is spot-on in the old town’s heart, but remember you have to walk in—cars can’t get in, so heavy luggage might be a hassle. The hotel lacks an elevator, though that’s not a big deal for me. Karla was very attentive. The anti‑noise windows didn’t stop the early‑morning delivery sounds from waking me up.

Location, location, location. Getting in through Pile Gate was a breeze, letting me explore the old town and return to the room whenever I wanted. The room was spacious and spotless, and the breakfast service was fantastic. The only downside is the noise that comes with such a prime spot, but it’s tolerable in the evenings thanks to the surrounding cafés and restaurants.
