How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The room was tiny but the breakfast was great, and the bed was comfortable. I liked how close it was to the city center and that my room was on the upper floor. The staff were friendly and patient, and the scooter was readily available. On the downside, the evening access to the homestay was hindered by noisy neighbor dogs, and the water shut‑off button was always on my mind after use.

The banana pancakes were the best I’ve had. I was disappointed to see large hotels being constructed nearby; it feels like Old Bali is about to disappear.

The place was clean and the host offered a mix of affordable and pricey options. The Warung staff were friendly, and the spa massages (extra cost) were good. However, there were many issues. Water was often cut off because the pump was loud and caused the lights to flicker, so I had to keep asking the host on WhatsApp to turn it back on. We stayed in the bottom left room, which was far too hot—an air‑conditioner would be needed for comfort. If you’re okay with just a fan, the room has no windows or mosquito guard at the door. When the “terrace” door was closed, the room started to smell strongly from the bed; the new mattress is in dire need of replacement. After the first night we decided to use the place only as a suitcase storage and slept in Kintamani the second night and in a nearby residence the third night.

The view from the top‑floor room was nice, and the terrace was comfortable. The bathroom was clean. I had to ask for water in the downstairs room (shower, toilet, sink). The sheets and towels had a persistent odor, the downstairs room was dark, and the area was noisy with dogs that barked and growled at all hours.

The homestay was beautiful and cozy, and I wasn’t disturbed much. Yuda was the best host and helped with everything. They also run an amazing restaurant and warung. I highly recommend it for Sidemen, and the Sidemen Rice Terrace is only about 1 km away, so you can walk there.
