The hotel is right on the square, so everything is accessible. Even though there were celebrations on the square, the room faced another direction, so it was quite quiet. Everything was clean, pleasant, comfortable. The staff were very kind and helpful.

Bor u Tachova is a sentimental spot for me – I was born there in 1958, lived until 1978, then moved to Moravia. We’d visit almost every year with the kids, whenever work allowed or during holidays. After my mom died, we try to go at least once a year to see the grave and remember the good times. I know it sounds a bit emotional, but I’m glad there’s a place in Bor where I can stay without any hassle with my dog.

The place itself is fine, but the noise from the rooms next door after 10 pm really kept me up.
