This old but fully renovated 200‑year‑old building—a “Konak,” as the locals call it—has an authentic, exotic vibe yet feels ideal for sleeping and relaxing. The owner doesn’t speak foreign languages, but we managed to communicate with an electronic translator, and he was very helpful.

This small hotel was created from the renovation of an Ottoman house near Safranbolu’s center. The owner is extremely kind and goes out of his way to help guests. Breakfast is good, cleanliness excellent, and the overall experience is worth recommending. The value for money is good, and parking right next to the property is hassle‑free—just ask the owner.

A gorgeous room inside a stunning Ottoman house, and the owner was super friendly and helpful. The only downside was that I struggled to fall asleep because there was no air conditioning or fan to cool the room.
