I liked the price and the location. The bed was nice, with good sheets and pillows. The bathroom had been newly renovated. Breakfast was good. However, many guests smoked on the walkways and in the parking lot, and I felt uncomfortable coming and going to my car because people were just standing smoking and watching me. There was no visible exterior security and trash stayed where it was left throughout my two‑day stay. Some of the furniture in my room seemed worn, and I only found one thin bath towel when I reached for it.

I was only a short walk from my work at SU, which was the main perk; otherwise, the stay was underwhelming. The Wi‑Fi never worked, and the toasters failed to toast bagels—after three attempts I gave up. The cheap plastic silverware couldn't even hold cream cheese, and I discovered there were no towels in my room the next morning. The neighborhood felt rough, especially coming from Chicago, and the breakfast I paid for was a mistake—cold eggs and sausage. I’ve seen far better places for a fraction of the price.

The location was convenient, check‑in was quick, and the room was large. The air conditioning turned off once and then started working again on its own in the morning. The room temperature was POLO NORD.
