The staff were great, they helped with everything, the pool was cozy, and the stay was excellent. The location is perfect, very central and close to everything. You can rent a bike or scooter right from the hostel and they’ll bring it to the hostel. The beds are a bit hard to climb, but that was the only drawback.

The location is good, but we expected a social hostel in Tam Coc, and when we got there around 11 pm after a late bus, we were met by a dark hostel with no lights and an empty reception. A WhatsApp number was given to alert the receptionist. Before paying we asked to see the dorm, and they questioned us; the dorm was cramped and the air‑con didn’t work, so it was very hot even at night. The pool didn’t look clean either. We decided not to stay and went elsewhere.

The location is fine, but the bed or the billiard table I slept on, the pool that can’t be used because it’s not maintained, and the Wi‑Fi that doesn’t work from the room are all problems.

I arrived and immediately saw the place was broken. I put my bag in the room and there was a damp smell from the AC and a dirty floor; when I asked for cleaning, the staff said everyone comes in barefoot and they can’t guarantee cleanliness. The bed smelled like it hadn’t had fresh sheets. The shower was okay, though I didn’t use it and it looked clean. I tried to cancel my nights, and they only refunded for one night, which is fair; the receptionist was very absorbed in her phone and not very friendly.
