The staff and the breakfast were great. The four‑person rooms feel a bit cramped and the bathroom had a faint pipe odor, while the wooden stairs creak loudly as people walk by.

The room was spacious, the bathroom was well equipped and the garden was pretty. The value for money was poor, the location was far from Santa Elena village, and the on‑site restaurant was overpriced even by Monteverde standards.

The hotel is really pretty, great location, staff are very attentive, the restaurant also pleased me, food is delicious, breakfast variety is good, clean, room has everything needed overall 10 out of 10. The only issue is that the steps on the stairs are a bit high.
