“Only stayed 1 ngt”
The location works well. The décor is very dated, and the room and bathroom are too small. It was clean, but everything felt old and dusty, lacking any fresh scent. The bathroom is just a tiny space without linoleum or tiles on the floor, so it didn’t feel clean.
“Very pleasant 2 night stay, lovely room, and good location,”
The location was perfect. Breakfast was okay, but the sausages and bacon were very hard and overcooked—though that might be fine for someone else. Aside from the overcooked breakfast, the stay was just fine.
“Great stay”
The location, value, and food were all good. The shower in the room was very small but still adequate.
“Comfortable hotel serving good food but in need of a bit of updating with few areas a bit tired.”
The staff were friendly and the hotel itself is nice. The restaurant is very pleasant with good food, and the location is close to Pagham beach. The place feels a bit worn out despite being comfortable; it carries an old‑fashioned charm but could use some updates in certain areas. The food is great, but the portions are far too large—felt bad that I couldn’t finish everything. On the bright side, breakfast is included.
“Short but comfortable stay in an old Coaching Inn.”
The cooked breakfast was lovely. There was a limited selection of fruit and cereals, and no bowls were provided.
