The rooms were spotless and matched the photos perfectly, and the hotel sits just a stone’s throw from the small square. The only hiccup was figuring out the heating control—turns out it’s in the hallway on each floor, not inside the rooms, so the rooms stayed pleasantly warm only after I discovered that.

The location is fantastic, just steps from the city center yet still quiet, surrounded by charming cafés and easy street parking nearby. The hotel itself feels welcoming, with stylish décor, a spacious bathroom, a comfortable bed, and underfloor heating that’s a real treat. The only downside was a pleasantly fragrant but slightly overpowering scent in the bathroom, the sheets could be of higher quality, and the pillows carried a faint sweat smell that bothered some guests.

Comfortable and charming, just a short walk from the Bridge of Lies. The kitchen is great, stocked with coffee, teas, and a few sweets, and they’ll hold your luggage for you if you need it. A solid 10.
