The hotel sits in a modern building on the edge of the former (submerged) old town of Staßfurt, and the online check‑in worked smoothly; we were allowed to leave our bicycles in the lobby, though we could not actually load them there. The rooms and bathrooms were large enough and modernly equipped, and the breakfast was very good.

The place was clean, with fresh towels in the bathroom, soap, a large shower, and a big wardrobe in the hallway, but cigarette smoke from the restaurant garden downstairs kept drifting in.

The rooms were nice and tidy, but booking for the next day was a bad idea – we needed codes to get in, but none were provided. We ended up waiting a long time before the staff could get through the phone, and we were given two rooms for five men with only four bed sets; we had to wait for staff to bring an extra set.

I cannot recommend staying there at all; apparently there isn’t even a parking space.
