The house was fabulous and the host was very helpful and informative. Rod and Gloria were perfect hosts with no fuss. The dinner was delicious, as were the breakfasts. The introductory tea, homemade cake and a wee dram were a delightful surprise 😊

Rod and Gloria were our hosts. This was the best stay of the three vacations we’ve taken together. The welcome was warm, and we spent time over tea and cake to learn what the island had to offer. Historical sites, interesting spots, cafés with gift shops, beaches and dining tips were all mapped out for us to take. The breakfasts were tasty, the beds felt like clouds, and the home was spotless. We had to leave, though.

The host gave great tips and the tiny library had useful info about the area.

Everything was fantastic: the hospitality, the room, the view, the breakfast, the dinner. Rod and Gloria welcomed us warmly, making us feel right at home and turning our stay into an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend the dinner—great food, wonderful atmosphere, and fair price. The breakfast was delicious, varied, and suited every taste. The bed was comfortable and the room spacious. Rod shared a lot of information about the island and what’s worth seeing, which changed our plans after that helpful introduction to the Isle of Lewis & Harris. Thanks, Rod & Gloria! Absolutely nothing to criticize.
