My room was cancelled and I never received any notice; I only found out by calling the hotel on my way, only to learn I had no reservation that I had booked online a month earlier. When I asked why the room was cancelled, I was told the price was too low. The hotel claimed they had notified Booki**.com, but when I called the ***.com they insisted I still had the reservation. No one accepted responsibility for the cancellation. Initially I was told and received written confirmation from Book.***.com that I would be compensated a full $70 USD, yet the rooms were on average $350 more. I called back to ***.com and was told a supervisor agreed to cover the difference, but I received an email stating I would have to pay almost double the agreed price and that possible credits would be calculated. No email reflected what I was told on the phone. My room was cancelled and I never received any notice.
