“Quintessential Australian bush experience !”

Staying right in the middle of the wild was a treat – we ate while kangaroos hopped outside our window. Peter and Betty were super helpful, tossing in little touches that made the place feel cozy. The whole spot was peaceful and surrounded by nature.

The house sits in the heart of nature, with kangaroos and even echidnas roaming the grounds. Everything we needed was there, and Peter and Betty welcomed us warmly, replying to messages fast and easy. Breakfast was a hit, with fresh bread and a nice spread.

“could not have asked for anything more. great location, great wild life, great hosts, comfortable”

Breakfast was continental, but they added homemade bread and fresh eggs – a nice touch. The location is gorgeous and gives easy access to the western part of the island. Everything else was just fine.

Peter and Betty were the epitome of welcoming hosts – friendly, helpful, and they even gave us homemade bread, a breakfast basket, and a bottle of wine. The secluded spot was perfect, but we didn’t want to drive after dark, so a small oven or microwave would have been handy.
