The location and the staff were great, lunch was very filling and the staff very attentive. The facilities, though decent, looked a little outdated; the pool was in a hard‑to‑reach spot and the water was too hot for summer temperatures, and the shower was even hotter.

The spot in that little village is super quiet. We were there the week of 19 August and, even though we feared the heat wave and the hotel doesn’t have air‑conditioning, we stayed pleasantly cool (no AC was needed) with the window open and it was just right. We got a budget double room that suited us well. The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the breakfast buffet was very complete. They offer a parking area in a paid public lot behind the hotel. You have to pay a deposit to get a card for the car so you don’t pay the parking during your stay and then they refund the deposit. Also, there is street parking near the hotel and we were able to leave the car there once. The location is great, close to all the surrounding villages we visited. We really liked it.

“Acceptable”

Breakfast was excellent and the cleaning staff did a great job, yet the property doesn’t really live up to a four‑star rating – it feels more like a three‑star place.
