A Pousada offers a pleasant atmosphere; we stayed in the luxury double room on the first floor, which was spacious, airy and opened onto a street balcony. Both the bed and bath linens were of excellent quality, which matters a lot to me for comfort. The mattress was very soft – I’d have liked it a bit firmer, though some may prefer it this way – and the pillows felt very comfy. The shower pressure was a little weak, but the water was nicely warm, so that was fine. Wi‑Fi signal was adequate. The location is very good: not in the hustle of Capivari yet close enough to walk back and forth without worrying about parking. Speaking of parking, the pousada’s lot has plenty of spaces, not cramped, with reasonable room to maneuver. Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide buffet and the option to order made‑to‑order items like scrambled eggs, tapioca and French toast; everything was fresh and tasty, especially the herb bread and the homemade blackberry and raspberry jams. On the downside, despite liking the pousada a lot, I feel the price per night is a bit high compared with other places I’ve stayed at in Campos that provide the same comforts and services for a more attractive rate.

Unfortunately, this hotel failed to meet our expectations in several areas, particularly in terms of comfort and amenities. The lobby lacked any convenience or comfort, and we had to pay for a basic coffee machine. We were also disappointed by the lack of dining options outside of breakfast hours, which required us to constantly search for alternatives.
