Parking was good and the food was nice, but the decor was poor, the mattress was lumpy, a window blind was broken, and the room needed a spruce‑up.

Good value for money and the staff were friendly, but there were not enough teabags, milk, or sugar.

The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and it was very quiet.

The walls had cracks, the carpet was dirty, the blinds were dirty, the paint was peeling, and there were disgusting swear words carved into the wall. This was the second room we were assigned; the first had a broken and unusable toilet seat. The menu on the website was completely out of date, and the new menu was very limited. No one apologized when we asked about the broken toilet seat, and the staff member at the welcome desk gave a very poor welcome.

The location was as expected and it was easy to get an Uber to the ICC. Most staff were helpful and friendly. The continental breakfast consisted of Kellogg’s sugary cereals and toast, only jam, no marmalade, and it was worth £6.95. A chair in the room would have been fine; staying three nights with no place to sit except the bed was less than ideal. On the first morning the sign was left out for cleaning, the waste bins were emptied, and nothing else. The second night was better.
