The ducks waddling around the garden were heartwarming 😊, but apart from a cafe there are no amenities nearby.

The only food available was a nearby cafe that had limited hours; I was on foot so I wasn’t able to drive to nearby restaurants. The owners of the property were very helpful and extremely knowledgeable about the area and the history, which I found fascinating. The views from the property were stunning and the abundance of flora and wildlife made for a restful and peaceful stay. The only thing I missed was a small fan in my room, and the weather was unusually warm.

The location was beautiful and the room was very cozy, with a lot of privacy; we never heard or saw anyone else until the last day when we checked out. The owners are lovely.
