The spot was spot‑on, and the price/value was great! The only thing to keep in mind is the age of the “motel”; it’s old but still clean and comfortable. The heater was the only issue.

The bed was clean and comfy, but the cold water faucet in the tub had no handle, and the water took several minutes to heat up. The room door didn’t close very well.

I found the place surprisingly quiet and larger than I had imagined; the bathroom was lovely with plenty of closet space, and the staff were genuinely friendly. The only hiccup was a slightly odd ceiling fan in the kitchenette, but that didn’t spoil my stay. I was after a clean, quiet spot with air conditioning that wasn’t right by the highway, and this hotel hit those marks perfectly – I’ll definitely return if I’m in Abilene, KS again.

The room was very cold and there was no comfortable spot to set things down; it was nothing like the motel’s online pictures and nobody was at the front desk when we needed assistance.

The front desk (owner?) attendant was very nice and friendly, and honestly there was nothing else to note except that the place could use some updating.
