“Widerlich, entwürdigend und absolut inakzeptabel!”
Nothing. Honestly, I don’t know how they can force guests to endure this. We booked two nights for ourselves and our daughter. In the middle of the night I woke up and realized I was sticky and it smelled terrible. The reason: I slept on a mattress that had a huge, monstrous, foul-smelling urine stain on the underside. Because of my body weight and heat, I apparently came into direct contact with it. Just thinking about it is disgusting. We took photos. But what’s almost as bad is how they handled us afterward. We reported the incident immediately and asked for a solution. Instead of concrete help, we got vague answers. We lost half a morning to calls and waiting, while we really wanted to tour Budapest. In the end, we had to find another place ourselves. We never saw a cleaner. And now the most outrageous thing: they apparently want us to pay for this experience. I paid for sleeping in someone else’s urine and now I’m supposed to shoulder the cost. It feels not only unfair but downright humiliating. This is not how you treat guests. If hygiene and a basic level of respect matter to you, find another accommodation. I would never stay here again. P.S.: If you still consider booking here, brace yourself for a confusing check‑in with two different house numbers and a communal bathroom that won’t lock. Enjoy!
