How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
There was no bidet even though it was supposed to be there, a window above the bathroom door (outside the room) that offered no privacy, uncomfortable parts of the bathroom (wallpaper in the shower?), wallpaper on the ceiling that was torn, floor with broken grout, and it was hard to reach the building with wheeled luggage. Better to stay outside than inside.

The building sits inside the lovely village of Laurino, and from there you can easily reach all the best spots in the area and nearby hamlets. Cars can be parked in the village on the white lines, though sometimes the spot is a bit farther from the house. The apartment keeps an old‑style look, with wooden windows and no air conditioning. Lucio was immediately helpful and very kind; the hospitality is a hallmark of the locals, as shown by how at the bar just behind the property (Bar Santa Lucia) we felt right at home. There you can have breakfast, an aperitif, or lunch, and especially ask Antonio for suggestions on what to do during your stay in Laurino and the surroundings. Recommended for those who want an experience away from mass tourism.

The place was clean. The host was helpful when we complained about the cold room. The room and bed were cold, even with the heater on a timer, and the room was not the one shown on Booking.

The room and common areas were clean and comfortable. I really liked the communal kitchen that was provided. There’s even a small common lounge where you can sit down. In short, perfect!
