Breakfast was spot‑on, and the incredibly friendly lady who handled our check‑in and served us was a breath of fresh air; she also helped my wife get extra towels because I’d been “buying land” while strolling through Victoria West, preventing any blood stains on the linen. The interior décor is absolutely beautiful with fantastic paintings on the walls. I would have preferred a closed toilet for privacy, but the antique charm of everything else made it all worthwhile.

The staff were very friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. However, the toilet was in the room with only a folding screen for privacy, and we were woken at 03h00 by an incredibly loud water‑hammer noise that persisted on and off for about 10 minutes.
