This is the most scenic hotel in Chitwan; from the balcony you can actually see rhinos, and the breakfast spread was generous.

The staff were quite good and helpful, but the entrance to the property was poor and there was no lighting on the lawn facing the river on either day; adding it would have enhanced the property’s beauty.

The hotel sits right by the river, and on some evenings you could see rhinos right in front of the building; it’s close to restaurants and shops, the staff are friendly, breakfast is good, the room is clean and the bed comfortable. The property feels a bit run down and needs maintenance; there are no proper sunbeds by the pool, and the chairs are wobbly and uncomfortable.

Only the restaurant workers and security guards behaved well. The hotel should improve staff behavior and customer communication, clearly state which rooms are river‑facing in the booking, clean the room and swimming pool, and make the front desk staff friendlier; the male staff are liars and the female front desk staff thinks she rules the place with a smug face. For the price charged, the room quality and facilities did not offer good value for money.

We found the safari options pricey, so we opted for a local company instead.
