“Un hôtel typique”
The location is great because it’s close to the center and the churches to see. The hotel is typical. Our plan: being on a hill lets us visit the churches without tiring ourselves with the steep alleys. We visited the basilica of San Francesco on the day of our departure by walking down there. The room is clean with air conditioning and a kettle. We arrived by train from Rome. At the station, take bus line C that takes you to the upper town to the terminus. Beware, there is no reception when you arrive. The directions are sent by WhatsApp. The breakfast could be improved because, sure, there are homemade cakes but no cornetti… For a tourist, it’s a shame not to taste Italian croissants. There’s no fresh bread, just sliced bread. There were fruit but the nectarines, for example, were all damaged.
