Uluwatu Yoga Resort

The facilities, friendly staff, and hammocks were great, and room cleaning was very good. Construction next to the room I stayed in started very early, and a few mosquitoes were in the room because the bug net had lifted in the bathroom.

“Cozy accommodation and excellent activities”

I especially liked the activities: surf lessons, yoga, family dinner, and a temple visit—perfect for a solo traveler. The restaurant food was excellent and it was a great spot to meet other travelers. Some bugs appeared in the bathroom; mosquito nets would help keep insects out.

“Schlechte Preis Leistung”

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. The yoga resort is actually a surf camp, and the name is used only to attract more customers. In my opinion, you pay a lot of money for a limited yoga offering; surfing dominates, which isn’t what we came for. Every service—breakfast, yoga, surfing—has to be paid extra; comparable surf camps with similar prices include all of these. The room was nicely furnished but swarmed by ants that kept taking over the bed, and we spent the whole day dealing with them. When we asked for help, we only received an insect spray, which was not very useful. On top of that, the hotel is a large construction site with daytime noise everywhere. The owners should focus on improving room quality before expanding. Overall, the value for money is the worst we’ve experienced on our trip to Indonesia.

“Amazing place”

The staff are incredibly friendly, always ready with tips and answers. The food is absolutely delicious and high‑quality for a good price. They organize yoga and surfing classes and also plan group activities like dinners and drinks. It’s the best place to stay in Uluwatu.
