The guesthouse is tucked into a gorgeous setting, and the room we got was spotless and really quiet. The lady who runs the place was exceptionally friendly and went out of her way to help. I really can’t think of anything that bothered me.

Everything was tidy, and the privacy you get there feels like a little oasis. The place is quiet and even has an alarm system for extra security. I didn’t run into any problems at all.

We arrived after a ten‑hour hike only to find the whole pension locked and no staff on site. I had emailed the guide about our delayed arrival, but the reply came four hours later saying nothing could be arranged. Being out in the weather with no shelter was a huge disappointment.

Communication with the lady owner was pleasant, especially since we had the place to ourselves. However, getting hot water required turning the tap on for a long time, which felt wasteful, and she pointed that out to us. I’d have preferred butter instead of the “pearl” at breakfast, and the refundable key deposit wasn’t mentioned in the listing, even though we paid cash.
