The adults‑only rooms feature air‑conditioning, private baths, free WiFi, a work desk, TV, and complimentary toiletries. Guests enjoy a lounge, daily housekeeping, 24‑hour security, in‑room breakfast, bike and car hire, and luggage storage.

How guests rate the property, aspect by aspect.
The place sits right in the middle of town, just a 2‑minute walk to the main street. We ended up in a room outside the building, and all the photos online were wrong – the owners actually stay there. It made no sense to show pictures of rooms that guests can’t access. The bathroom smelled, no blankets were supplied, and the sheets were thin and uncomfortable. Apparently there’s a room upstairs; they should list the rooms separately because the experience isn’t the same.

I was pleasantly surprised to find Fort Heaven tucked away in Galle Fort – it’s very peaceful and ideal for a night or two. The facilities were well thought out: hot and cold water, AC or fan, tea and coffee making, and toiletries. The hosts were helpful, and the inside‑fort location added to the charm. Free Wi‑Fi was a nice bonus. The only downside was that it took a while to locate the property because of the many narrow lanes.

The overall vibe was relaxing and comforting, and I’d stay again if I have the chance. Occasionally the surrounding noise can be distracting.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our room stayed clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout. The facilities were excellent, and the peaceful atmosphere made it a perfect place to relax.
