A truly peaceful spot suitable for families. It’s only 5 km from Trieste, but the elevation change means bike riders need a good leg; otherwise the tram stops right in front of the house, which is super convenient. Opicina is really nice. The comfort and quiet are the only drawbacks.

A lovely building in a very quiet spot, just a half‑hour tram ride to the center of Trieste. The room was spacious, clean, and had a fridge. Stefano was very kind and gave me some very useful tips.

Everything was fine for a night stay. It wasn’t that I didn’t like it, but it would be nice to have air conditioning for hot days or ceiling fans; that would be enough.
