The pool was fantastic after a long drive. Evening dining was superb, with a server who was efficient and friendly. The room’s décor was nice and the air‑conditioning worked well. When we got there, it took a while to locate a receptionist because he was out in the garden; a sign at reception would help. Breakfast was disappointing – the smart coffee machine wasn’t working, the bread was stale, and there were no healthy choices. That was a shame, since the restaurant itself was excellent. Luckily, a bakery on the town’s edge offers a wide range of bread, chopped fruit, and healthy salads.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the simple yet generous meals were delightful, but the manager was unpleasant. We were 30 minutes late because of the road, and he barely said hello, telling us he normally didn’t serve at that hour, which made me feel uneasy for the rest of the stay.

The location is good. The bathroom was essentially non‑existent – you couldn’t shower or wash without leaving the door open.

The room was easy to use and not fuzzy. The breakfast was very mediocre.

“Enjoyable stay”

The breakfast was good, the location was just right for what we wanted, and the staff were very helpful. The restaurant was closed for three evenings out of our four nights stay.
